The repayment by God’s hand on Vietnam in recent history:
November 4, 2009 - Typhoon Mirinae killed 98; at least 20 people are reported missing.
September 30, 2009 - Typhoon Ketsana killed 162, injured 616, and forced 170,000 to flee their homes.
July 6, 2009- Floods and Landslides kill 30.
June 29, 2009- Leftover bombs from the Vietnam War have killed over 42,000 Vietnamese since the war ended; 62,000 have been injured, and tens of thousands are permanently disabled.
December 8, 2008 – 7 miners killed in a coal mine blast in Quang Ninh.
November 10, 2008 – 19 missing in shark infested waters after a Taiwanese fishing boat capsized. Those on board included sailors from Taiwan, China, Vietnam and the Philippines.
As of November 3, 2008, there have been reported 132,249 cases of HIV-acquired cases in Vietnam. To date, nearly 40,000 Vietnamese have died from this disease.
November 2008 – Floods and landslides claim at least 25 people missing or dead. The floods and landslides are due to heavy rains that typically sweep across Central Vietnam each year.
October 29, 2008 – Floods in Hanoi, Vietnam kill 20 people including multiple children; this is the heaviest rain fall in two decades. The people either died from drowning, electric shock or lightening. Don’t forget that this is the evil place where fags are starting to “come out”.
October 2008 – Floods in Northern & Central Vietnam kill 92 people and destroy hundreds of homes.
September 2008 – Typhoon Hagupit killed at least 25 people in the countries northern states.
2007 – Six major storms slammed Vietnam killing more than 435 people in landslides and floods as well as displacing thousands of people.
1999 - 1999 Vietnam Flood: killed 702 people.
1999 – Vietnam’s worst mining accident killed 19 people.
1997 - Super Typhoon Angela: left 884 dead.
Nov. 14, 1992 - Vietnam Airlines Yakovlev 40 Air Disaster: killed 30 people.
1959-1975 - Vietnam War: 500,000-2,000,000 civilian deaths and 1,100,000 soldiers’ deaths.
1943-1945 - Vietnamese War Famine (caused by World War II): left 2,000,000 dead.
Vietnam is prone to storms and floods which kill hundreds of people every year. Wake up! The Lord controls the rain, the floods, the typhoons…everything!
