Portugal is a democratic republic, that since 1976, have been ruled by their own Constitution. The Portuguese Republic is set up very similar to that of the United States in respect to having an Executive branch, Legislative branch, and a Judicial branch. The Executive branch includes the President (Chief of State) and the Prime Minister (head over the government). The Legislative branch (Unicameral) is made up of the Assembly of the Republic (also known as parliament). Lastly the Judicial branch is the Supreme Court. The government, over which the Prime Minister resides, is divided into political, legislative, and administrative functions. The government is composed of the Prime Minister, and the Council of Ministers. Each minister heads a ministry and has assigned to him or her one or more state secretaries. When the government seeks to pass a bill of any kind (the Prime Minister working with the other areas of the government) it must be submitted to the Assembly of the Republic and if approved there it must be either vetoed or signed by the President.
Portugal has always been prone to following what the rest of Europe is doing. For example, Portugal has been a member of the European Union (one of the first) since January of 1986 (then called the European Economic Community). In April 2007, a new law permitting abortion was passed, which put Portugal in alignment with nearly all of the European Union countries, and now in a country that is predominately Catholic, and Catholics of course have high moral values (NOT), they are about to pass a new bill to permit gay marriage, which would make them the sixth country in Europe to do so. Portugal has shown itself to be one of the front runners for the filthiest countries in Europe.
Portugal has had a separation of church in state as law since the adoption of their Constitution in 1976 and they even passed a Religious Freedom Act in 2001. Now, though, Portugal has put fags in a protective class against “hate crimes” and discrimination. These laws that have been used to protect against racial discrimination and religious discrimination now protect sexual orientation. So in other words, if your religious message speaks against fags you can be put in prison and or prosecuted. The standard in Portugal (like most countries that make up the EU) is that you have to kiss up to fags in order to survive. They would not have it any other way.

Portugal’s government has corrupted judgment and framed mischief by a law. Portugal is doomed!!
