Norway runs under a constitutional monarchy and their constitution was amended in 1814. The king (King Harold V) has executive powers, but almost always the orders are given by the Council of Ministers in the name of the king.  The hereditary monarch is the head of state. The prime minister, who is the head of government, is appointed by the monarch with the approval of Parliament, as is the cabinet. Members of the 169-seat unicameral Parliament (or Storting) are popularly elected to four-year terms.

Not long from now and you might see these perverts running this country banning us like the United Kingdom did.  These fools think they can pass laws against God and His word.  They have forgotten that the LORD’s will that will stand in the end, not their phony, unrighteous laws.

2009 - Norway legalizes male homosexuality by a new Criminal Code, effective January 1, 2009.

June 2008 - Parliament voted to pass a new marriage act, granting homosexual couples the same marriage and adoption rights as heterosexual couples.

1993 - Norway enacts registered partnership civil union laws that grant same-sex couples the same rights as married couples, except for the right to adopt or marry in a church

1981 - Norway becomes the first country in the world to enact a law to prevent discrimination against homosexuals

1972 – Norway decriminalized homosexuality
