God's Wrath Revealed Against Norway

Jeremiah 9:13 And the LORD saith, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked therein;
14 But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.
16 I will scatter them also among the heathen, whom neither they nor their fathers have known: and I will send a sword after them, till I have consumed them.
 
God will discomfit these people according to their filthy deeds.  Earthquakes, storms, floods, plagues, you name it.  They will run for the mountain tops, but they will not hide from the wrath of God.  Remember the flood, you fools!  God will wipe you off the face of the earth for the evil you have done!

August 15, 1988 - 15 people killed in a bus crash.

Janurary 23, 1904 - Ålesund Fire destroyed almost the whole city centre, built mostly of wood like the majority of Norwegian towns in that era.

1899 – 30 dead from Røvær disaster in Haugesund

1899 – 140 dead from Titran Disaster in Trøndelag

1868 – 96 dead from storm in Lofoten

1849 – 500 dead from heavy storm in Lofoten

May 26, 1822 - Grue Church fire happened in Grue, Norway and took the lives of between 113 and 117 churchgoers.

1652 - 210 dead from storm "Follastormen" in Trøndelag

1350 - the Black plague, "Svartedauen" sweeps Denmark and Scandinavia killing one third of the inhabitants
