Muslims, Christians and Druze represent the three main religions in Lebanon. Muslims adhere to both the Sunni and Shia sects. Christians break down into 4 main sects, the Maronites (essentially Priests Rape Boys Catholics with some autonomy from the pope,) Eastern Orthodox, Armenian Apostolic and Syrian Church of the East with very small numbers of other sects. Muslims are approximately 59.7% of the population. Christians are 39% of the population. Druze are about 5% of the population.
Muslims Islam was started by the prophet Mohammed who was a pedophile, adulterer, and murderer. He not only engaged in these sins but encouraged every one of his followers to do the same.
So-called Christians The largest church in Lebanon is the Maronite church, also called the Eastern Catholic Church. They take their name from a fourth century monk from Antioch named St. Maron. Maron spent most of his time on a mountain or traveling to “win souls to Christ.” What hubris (“extreme haughtiness or arrogange”)! This guy actually believed he had the power to affect salvation. That power is God’s and God’s alone, to have mercy on whom He will and to harden the heart of whom He will. Romans 9: 15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So in addition to worshipping the hell-bound, child raping pope, they add even more idolatry to the typical Catholic repertoire with this long dead freak.
Druze The Druze religion began as an offshoot of Islam strongly influenced by Greek theology. Muslims view them as Muslim heretics, worthy of the death penalty. They view themselves as completely separate from Islam and not subject to such laws. In 1021, an Islamic army slew at least 5000 Druze for being ‘apostates to Islam.’ In 1205, a fatwah was issued against them by the Ottoman ruler. This lead to several hundred years of persecution and state sanctioned murders at the hands of the Ottoman rulers.
