Fa-Ngoum – He is to blame for Laos worshipping Buddha.  When he came to power in the 1300s, he enshrined the Prabang Buddha image as the spiritual protector of the kingdom.  He is also credited with introducing the Theravada Buddhist sect to the region. 

Khamparn Douangpaseurt –  A well- known former champion cyclist and popular folk song singer, and more recently a champion shooter of the air rifle as a member of the Laos team.  His friends call him “Pam”.  Pam has a lot of influence over the youth of his nation.  With that influence comes great responsibility to use what God has given him to serve God.  He has failed to lead by example to teach policies of obedience to God’s law.  It is not too late, Pam.  Begin to do your duty TODAY!
