Kuwait has a royal/ ruling family – the Al-Sabahs. They choose one man to be Amir (or Head) of the State from this family, currently being Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah since January 29, 2006. He has held numerous positions in Kuwait including: Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Information and the Head of the Department of Press and Publications. None of this high esteem or clout means a thing when he refuses to obey the commandments of God and give all glory to Him. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? (Mark 8:36)
The Kuwaiti Constitution declares Islam as the State Religion – therefore also declaring a war against God, His Word and anyone in Kuwait with a hope of serving God (if any such exist). Islam promotes idolatry, exalting man's reasoning above that of the Almighty God, and portrays pedophilia as something to be praised (Mohammad had a nine year old 'wife' – yikes).
According to recent studies by Transparency International, corruption is on the rise in Kuwait. 20% of those polled respond that either they or someone in their family has accepted a bribe in the 2008-2009 time frame. For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right. (Amos 5:12) There is no justice in Kuwait and truth has perished from the mouths of the inhabitants. And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. (Isa 59:14)
