January 26, 2010 - Suicide bombers and gunmen attacked three hotels simultaneously, killing 37.
December 10, 2009 - Suicide car bombings left 127 dead and 448 wounded.
October 25, 2009 - Two car bombs simultaneously exploded, killing at least 132 and wounding 520.
July 21, 2009- Various bombings and shootings (a mother and baby killed when a bomb in trash exploded; that will teach them not to recycle!) left 24 killed and 142 wounded.
July 9, 2009- String of bomb blasts: 60 Iraqis dead, 172 wounded.
June 24, 2009- A bomb, hidden underneath a cart carrying vegetables for sale, killed 60 and injured 130+. “I heard a boom and saw a ball of fire," said Najim Ali, a 30-year-old father who was injured in the blast […] I saw cars flying in the air because of the force of the explosion [.]” A harbinger of, what as Shirley Phelps-Roper first described as, PROJECTILE REBELS! Leviticus 18:25-28, - “And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. Ye shall therefore keep my statutes (OBEY!) and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you: (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;) That the land spue not you out also, when ye defile it, as it spued out the nations that were before you.”
June 21, 2009- “The death toll from Iraq's deadliest bombing in more than a year rose to 73, police said on Sunday, a day after a suicide bomber detonated a truck packed with explosives outside a mosque in the north of the country.” 182 others were wounded. It is a curse from God when He has taken His Peace away from you; for disobedience to God’s Law, denying His Sovereignty and Power, you have jeopardized the lives of yourselves and your children FOREVER. REPENT, or suffer the fate of these dead idolatrous fools. God doesn’t change: FEAR HIM!
June 16, 2009- “Fourteen bus passengers, many of them children, were killed and 30 were injured when their vehicle crashed and burst into flames in southern Iraq on Tuesday, a police officer said.”
June 10, 2009- “At least 11 people were killed and 40 wounded in a car bombing in a market area in a town in southern Iraq on Wednesday, a hospital director in the nearby city of Nasiriyah told AFP.”
Earthquakes: Earthquakes are not unknown to Iraq. One that included Iraq is reported in association with a tsunami as early as July 9, 551. In January 2008, three earthquakes were reported in Baghdad, though most of the people who remained indoors scared from the rumble assumed it was the result of a bombing or large explosion. A report made in May 2003 at an international conference on earthquakes said that the geodynamic configurations in Iraq shows a medium to high seismic risk, making major highly populated cities particularly and increasingly vulnerable.
Violence: Iraq is the scene of intense violence. Since the war doomed america started in Iraq officially ended on May 1, 2003, there have been more than 2,000 Iraqi casualties from terrorist attacks (through 2008), and in 2007, deaths due to bombings targeting civilians averaged 30-45 per month. Further, in Baghdad in 2007, killings not ordered by the courts ranged from 515 to a whopping 1415 per month. One study found that it was impossible to differentiate between acts of war and crime in Iraq, and that an estimated 23,000 murders had taken place in Iraq from May 2003 through December 2005.
Longstanding Warfare and the Fallout: By whatever name, the people of Iraq and the surrounding area have been engaged in warfare since the beginning of mankind. Modern day Iraqis have warred against Gods people, the children of Israel, since they were known as a people. Since at least 1948, Iraq has joined in battles in the Middle East, including the War of Independence in 1948, the Yom Kippur War in 1973, and the Iran-Iraq war from 1980-1988 (400,000 Iraqis died). Iraq was engaged in bloodshed during Saddam Husseins reign, with tens of thousands dying, and one report says that from 1990-2003, an estimated 1.25 million Iraqis have died from poverty, hunger and disease due to a combination of sanctions and government neglect, see http://www.geocities.com/dtmcbride/hist/wars.html.
The Wrath of God Uniquely Focused on this Nation: Above all the calamities and woes that have befallen the depraved humans of Iraq and its preceding empires, the fact that Iraq is the site chosen by God for doomed america to become Babylon is the most significant. Today it is almost a daily occurrence for citizens of Iraq to be killed, and it is a nation that is internationally notorious for its brutality and carnage. These people the descendents of Ishmael, the son of the bondwoman, and Esau, the prototype in the Scriptures for the depraved hell bound reprobate have eternal and visceral enmity against God and his people. This is the place that will have a major role in the winding up of the affairs of all mankind. These warring contentious people, steeped in centuries of idolatry and dark pagan practices, have provided the perfect setting for doomed america to take charge, to become Babylon, and to be destroyed. These people have been juxtaposed to the remnant of people called Gods elect forever. God has reserved and preserved unto himself a people of his own, from amongst the children of Israel, and for a season the Gentiles, and the people of Iraq and their ancestors have always been on the scene, serving as the sharp disobedient contrast to the righteous people of God. The worst punishment that God brought to the children of Israel for their apostasy was to embroil them in the idol-worshipping and filthy sexual practices of these Babylonians. The idols of the heathen of Iraq and surrounding nations were the proving ground for the people of God, to see if they would obey. These people are cursed of God forever, save for the small number of proselytes called out from among them, such as Urriah the Hittite, Ruth the Moabitess, and Rahab the Harlot of Jericho.
