The Co-operative Republic of Guyana is the only English speaking nation as well as the only member of the Commonwealth of Nations on the South American continent. The citizens elect a president as well as members of the unicameral parliament.  The president appoints a prime minister. Politics in Guyana is based on race and ethnicity rather than political philosophy. The Indian descended majority tends to dominate offices of power creating friction with the large black population. They ignore Christ’s notion that all people are of one blood, the only distinction that matters with God is whether a person is His elect or a reprobate. God is not a respecter of persons and neither should the government of Guyana be!
