Anglican church in Georgetown where they teach that adultery and sodomy are sacraments.
While many false religions can be found in Guyana including animism, Islam, Baha’i and Rastafarian, faux-Christianity and Hinduism account for the lion’s share of the population. Christianity is the religion of 57% and Hinduism that of 28% of the Guyanese. Of the so-called Christians, the adulterous Anglicans make up the largest group with just over 125,000 members. Pagan idolatrous holidays from Christianity, Hinduism and Muslims are celebrated as official state holidays.
In America, the Anglicans refer to themselves as Episcopalians and they enjoy the dubious distinction of electing the perverse sodomite Vicki Gene Robinson as a bishop. He refers to sodomy as a sacrament. A large number of Guyanese belong to this perverse dog kennel masquerading as a church and they wonder why God curses them with poverty and social strife.
The most disturbing false religious system in Guyana was brought their by the Doomed american cult leader Jim Jones. Jones founded The People’s Temple Agricultural Project at Jonestown near the capital city of Georgetown. This pseudo-religious sect resulted in a mass suicide that represents the single largest loss of Doomed american civilian lives until the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks. Jones selected Guyana as the location of his temple due to the countries lack of extradition treaties with the United States. He realized he could easily buy influence of the political leaders of such a poor country. The Guyanese government happily took Jones’ money and helped him acquire fire arms. The Guyanese officials modified their immigration policy to make it difficult for cult members to leave once things began to go wrong. The Prime Minister of Guyana at the time, Forbes Burnham, played an active role in setting up the cult in Guyana and making it difficult for people to freely leave the grasp of Jones.
Daily life in Jonestown featured many horrific scenes such as beatings, being held upside down in a well and being forcibly drugged. Children suffered terribly at the cult and many people desired to escape. As the situation spiraled out of Jim Jones’ control, prominent American fag Harvey Milk wrote a letter to President Carter telling him what an upstanding man Jones was. And so Jones did what any fag-loving, false prophet, doomed reprobate would do, he forced 909 of the people in Jonestown to commit suicide by drinking poisoned Flavor-Aid.
