November 2007 - Riots again break out across the country after 2 teenagers are killed when they are involved in a crash with a police vehicle. Dozens of police were injured from rioters who shot at them and threw molotov cocktails.

October November, 2005 - Riots break out all across France triggered by the deaths of two teenage boys after being followed by police (the police say they were not following them). The events brought to a head the racial/cultural/religious/social tensions that have occurred related to the large influx of North African immigrants. Hundreds, possibly thousands, of buildings and cars were burned, thousands were arrested and at least 1 died.

September 22, 1992 - Windstorms in Vaucluse, Drome & Ardeche kill 47, affect 2,000 and cause $400,000,000 damage
