Bishop Carlos Belo (pictured left) Carlos Filipe Ximenes Belo was born in East Timor and sent to Priests Rape Boys Catholic schools his entire life. As a result, he grew up to dedicate his life to enabling his compatriots in their rebellion. He was awarded the Nobel peace prize jointly with Jose Ramos-Horta for his efforts to help young men fleeing the 1991 Santa Cruz massacre.
Jose Ramos-Horta Second (and current) president of East Timor. Ramos-Horta and Bishop Belo shared the 1996 Nobel Peace Prize.
