One of Denmark’s most significant characteristics is its frequent “European windstorms.” Many of these storms are hurricanes or hurricane-like (only a few are mentioned above, but other major storms include Paula and Zizi). The weather, especially the whirlwind (AKA European windstorms), is yet another weapon in God’s arsenal used for dealing with rebellious nations. When He has determined destruction upon a nation such as Denmark (see Filthy Manner of Life), He will only mock them when their pain comes, because they refuse to hear His reproof.

Proverbs 1:25  But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: 26  I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; 27  When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. 28  Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

Nahum 1:2 ¶  God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. 3  The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. 4  He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. 5  The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. 6  Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. 7  The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.

The Lord is in absolute control of every aspect of this physical world – who do you think you’re messing with, you lame Danes?! Get right with God, or this earth can and will be used to vomit you into Hell.
