God's Wrath Revealed Against the Central African Republic

2004-2006, 2009-ongoing, Polio outbreak a disease which has been eradicated in much of the world spread through several countries in central Africa including CAR in 2004-2006. In 2009, another outbreak occurred which is still ongoing. The recent Icelandic volcano ash has delayed vaccination efforts in the region.

     Let the Lord’s name be declared throughout the earth and let everyone know, He alone holds the breath of life in His hands. He alone can send the disease or eradicate it as He will. Exodus 9:14  For I will at this time send all my plagues upon thine heart, and upon thy servants, and upon thy people; that thou mayest know that there is none like me in all the earth.
15  For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may smite thee and thy people with pestilence; and thou shalt be cut off from the earth.
16  And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

1999-ongoing Refugees Roughly 200,000 people from the CAR have been displaced due to political unrest and instability. Conflict has lead many people, especially in the northern part of the nation, to flee their villages out of fear for their lives.

Early 1980s-ongoing HIV/AIDS HIV infects between 12% and 17% of the population of the CAR

Ongoing Malnutrition: 38% of the children in the CAR suffer from malnutrition. One in five children dies before their fifth birthday. The nation has been called”Ground Zero” for children hood malnutrition.

Crime and lawlessness: The country is noted for instability and a lack of safety for its citizens and visitors. Various crimes are rampant.
