Abortion

Currently, Burundi has in place laws that prohibit abortion but only under certain standards. According to a document released by the UN, which states the abortion policy of Burundi, an abortion can be performed in order to “save the life of the woman,” “preserve physical health,” and “preserve mental health.” Here is the link to the document: http://www.un.org/esa/population/publications/abortion/doc/burund1.doc

Under these standards, as long as one of these things can be proven, an abortion is allowed, and in a generation full of liars and murderers, abortions in Burundi are becoming more and more prevalent. The Government of Burundi, with help from the Centre for Progressive Health Financing, is formulating legislation that would enable universal health care for all levels of the population. This new health care legislation is hoping to be more flexible and open to the wishes of the general population. In a country where rape is rampant, expect the number of killed babies to increase.

Fags

In April 2009, a law was passed to criminalize homosexuality. What resulted in the passing of this law was the bearing down of the brute fag population of both Burundi and this world. Fag-controlled organizations from across the world, including Human Rights Watch and 62 others, issued a statement in response to this law, “The Burundian government decision to criminalize homosexual conduct violates fundamental human rights and should be reversed immediately.” The servants of God at Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, KS say that the death penalty for fags should be added to the law, because that is the standard of the Lord God.

Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

The fags are prideful and that is why they don’t repent! They don’t care if they spread their filth all around during the gay pride parades in Lisbon and they do it openly because of they are not ashamed of their sins!

Jeremiah 6:15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD. Sexual Trafficking/Violence

“Burundi is a source country for children trafficked for the purposes of child soldiering, domestic servitude, and commercial sexual exploitation. The rebel faction National Liberation Force (FNL) remained the only armed group not to have fully implemented a ceasefire agreement with the government, and it continued to unlawfully recruit and exploit children as fighters, manual laborers, and logistical support throughout the majority of the reporting period; the FNL appeared to cease child recruitment in early 2009 after the commencement of the formal demobilization process. Generally, child soldiers and other children were identified, separated from the adults at the demobilization camps and pre-assembly areas, and returned to their homes early to mid-2009. FNL rebels reportedly forced rural populations to perform uncompensated labor, such as transporting supplies or weapons, during the reporting period. Some Burundian children are also trafficked within the country for domestic servitude and commercial sexual exploitation. While there is little evidence of large-scale child prostitution, "benevolent" older females offer vulnerable younger girls room and board within their homes, and eventually push them into prostitution to pay for living expenses; extended family members reportedly also financially profit from the commercial sexual exploitation of young relatives residing with them. Male tourists from Oman and the United Arab Emirates exploit Burundian girls in prostitution; parents reported six cases of such liaisons to the police during the reporting period. Burundian girls are also trafficked to Kenya, Malawi, and Uganda for commercial sexual exploitation. Human trafficking of Burundian adults and children with albinism to Tanzania for the forcible removal of body parts may occur; so-called Tanzanian traditional healers seek various body parts of persons with albinism for traditional medical concoctions commonly purchased to heal illness, foster economic advancement, or hurt enemies.”

Women rights in Burundi are basically non-existent. Probably the biggest threats that women in Burundi face because of this is rape. Female rape victims in Burundi are nearly a daily occurrence, and the Burundi Government is known for doing nothing with respect to bringing the perpetrators who commit the crime into justice. The high female rape count in Burundi has led to over 50% of the population with AIDS in Burundi to be females over the age of 15.
