God's Wrath Revealed Against Benin

Ro 1:18 - For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.  Benin is full of ungodliness and unrighteousness.

God has revealed His wrath to you repeatedly with great flooding that destroys your land and kills your people.  This regular flooding has been exacerbated by your unreliable meteorological information – which you put your trust in, instead of calling upon God who controls the rain.  In 2007, 2008 and 2009, hundreds were killed and wounded by floods, and thousands more displaced from their homes.  You even have a special day – July 14 – that you watch for every year to see how God is going to deal with you for your sins.  It never occurs to you to humble yourself before His mighty hand and obey!!  On top of all that, you are too proud to declare a state of emergency and ask for help even from man.  Your pride has gotten you in this mess, and it will lead to your final destruction.

In addition, God smacked you on December 25, 2003, when he threw UTA Flight 141 from the sky, plunging it into the sea and killing 135 people.  Dead bodies floated in the wreckage while your incompetence ruled the day.  One witness had the audacity to say, “May God’s mercy fall on them.  It was a terrible scene.”  Yes, it was to your eyes, but not to God’s.  You will not receive God’s mercy while you flagrantly disobey his commandments.  That scene was nothing compared to what you will see if you do not put away your filthy manner of life and stop worshipping false gods.

In recent months, Benin has received much and varied attention from a raging mad God, to wit:  October 13, 2009, your president declares that fake drugs are causing your country to lose 4-5 billion francs every year; November 3, 2009, the death toll from a boating accident the previous week rose to 50, mostly Beninese primary school pupils; November 25, 2009, a bloody pirate attack off your coast raises concerns (but not enough concern to REPENT!); and, December 28, 2009, your incompetent police are questioning the coordinator of your country’s Millennium Challenge Account programme over corruption.  God will repay you to your face in ways you have not even thought of for your rebellion.  We pray for more and worse!
