God's Wrath Revealed Against Belgium

As one would expect, God has visited Belgium in his wrath regularly.  God placed Belgium on the northern end of the Lower Rhine Graben rift zone where she has experienced several earthquakes – the most notable was when the western suburbs of Liege were struck in 1983, causing more than $80 million in damage.  Belgium has also been plagued with regular flooding.  In the 1990s, river flooding resulted in losses of over $1 billion, and more is on the way.

God has also visited Belgium’s people with a wide variety of to-your-face earth judgments, to wit:  L’Innovation Department Store fire (5-22-67), killing 322 people; Dendermonde nursery attack and stabbing (1-23-09), where one of your own stabbed 3 people to death and mutilated 12 more; the Sabena OO-AUB Ostend plane crash (11-16-37), that killed all 11 passengers, most were royalty from Greece; and, the Sabena Flight 548 (2-15-61), killing all 72 passengers, including the entire United States Figure Skating team who were en route to the 1961 World Championships in Czechoslovakia.

My favorite GodSmacks are when God kills your famous idols in car crashes, to wit:  Ludo Coeck, a Flemish-Belgian footballer (killed 10-9-85); Tom Compernolle, a Belgian runner (killed 6-16-08); Rudy Dhaenens, a Belgian professional road bicycle racer (killed 4-6-98); Louis Neefs, a Belgian singer and presenter (killed 12-25-80); Francois Sterchele, a Belgian footballer (killed 5-8-08); and Laurent Verbiest, a Belgian football player (killed 4-16-66). 

In response to each of these GodSmacks, you turned to your false preachers and worshipped these dead corpses, rather than be thankful that God Almighty did not kill you and has given you breath to this day to repent of your filthy deeds.  The time is so short now; your destruction is imminent!!
