Angola's False Religious Systems

Angola's False ReligionAngola’s Constitution provides for religious freedom.  Her religions break down like this:  Catholicism 38-55-70% (depending on who you ask); 15-20% Protestant (Methodist, Baptist and African churches); there is wide use of healers and diviners (UNITA has used them to intimidate civilizations under their control); and, 47% follow African traditional beliefs.  I know that is over 100%!  The confusion is probably because the traditional African religion is mixed in with Catholicism, which is really one in the same.

Traditional African religion is Animism – the belief that souls or spirits exist in animals, plants, rocks, thunder, mountains, rivers, etc., and that humans are on equal footing with these things.  That explains a lot about the condition of Angola, does it not?

There has been severe religious persecution for Muslims and witches in Angola.  In 2006, the government banned 17 religious groups charged with practicing harmful exorcism rituals on children and adults and charged with witchcraft.  The law does not recognize the existence of witchcraft, and “abusive actions committed while practicing a religion” are illegal.  Two members of these groups were convicted of child abuse and sentenced to 8 years in prison.  Further, in February, 2006, the government closed 3 mosques for holding services authorities claimed disrupted public order by impeding the flow of traffic.  This sounds a lot like the United States of Doomed america’s government.

Today, Angolan government and church groups continue campaigns against traditional religions that involve shamans (healer/diviner), animal sacrifices and “witchcraft”.  What a bunch of HYPOCRITES!!  You have zero moral authority to say one word -  there is not a whit of difference between your Catholicism and witchcraft.  And, talk about CHILD ABUSE – Catholic Priests Rape Boys (www.priestsrapeboys.com)!!
